I had some fun with The Graphics Fairy recently. I had been searching for some graphics for some TV tray tables that I’m re-doing and got side-tracked by all the great Halloween graphics I saw. So I decided to make a few Halloween items while the TV tray tables were drying. My sister mentioned some Halloween signs she’d seen in a resale shop near her home (I wish I could give proper credit to the author) and that inspired me to use some of the graphics and fonts I found. I also had a couple of random bottles lying around that sparked some creativity. I used the Mod Podge method but there are many others to experiment with. Because I was doing black on white I just cut out the graphics and stuck them on with the Mod Podge and then put a top coat of Mod Podge over them. I sanded the edges and the front of the signs a little for a slightly weathered look and then used another top coat of spray Mod Podge to seal them. I used a matte finish Mod Podge. Here are the signs – I made 2 variations.
The bottles are filled with salt and water with red food coloring. The match box graphic is a project direct from The Graphics Fairy.
